The difference between hot dip galvanizing and electroplating

1. Hot galvanizing process:

The iron parts are cleaned and then treated with solvent and immersed in zinc solution. The iron reacts with molten zinc to form an alloyed zinc layer.

The process is: degreasing - washing - pickling - plating Dry - hot dip galvanizing - separation - cooling passivation.

2. Electroplating stainless steel sheet process:

Chemical degreasing → hot water washing → washing → electrolytic degreasing → hot water washing → washing → strong corrosion → washing → electro-galvanized iron alloy → washing → washing → light → passivation → washing → drying.

3. The difference between them:

Hot : thick zinc layer , strong corrosion resistance, high prices.

Electroplating: thin zinc, poor corrosion resistance, low prices.
